Attamimi, Fildza Malifa Setiabudi<\/p>\n<p>Undang-Undang Nomor 18 Tahun 2002 tentang Sistem Nasional Penelitian, Pengembangan, dan Penerapan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (UU No. 18\/2002) merupakan UU yang dibuat untuk mengatur sistem penelitian, pengembangan, dan penerapan iptek di Indonesia. Namun, UU tersebut tidak secara khusus mengatur tentang pengelolaan data dan informasi iptek nasional. Saat ini telah disahkan undang-undang baru yang akan memutakhirkan amanat UU No. 18\/2002, yaitu Undang-Undang (UU) tentang Sistem Nasional Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi<\/p>\n<p>Seiring disahkannya UU pengganti UU No. 18\/2002, naskah akademik untuk penyusunan Rancangan Perpres SIIN ini dinilai perlu ditelaah ulang dan dimutakhirkan.
