Mirta Amalia currently serves as the advisor of Centre for Innovation Policy and Governance (CIPG).
She holds a PhD in Business and Management from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom, with a research on the links between knowledge management and service innovation in Knowledge-Intensive Business Services (KIBS). She earned an MSc (with Distinction) in Management and Information Systems (M&IS) from Institute of Development Policy and Management, University of Manchester. Prior to her studies, she worked in the telecommunication sector.
Her research interests include innovation in services sector, knowledge management and knowledge dynamics. She has worked with both qualitative and quantitative methods. She has been involved in numerous research projects conducting multiple roles.
